Have you said any of these recently?
I wrote it, and I have no idea what comes next.
I need a degree before I proceed with this novel.
Other people are more qualified to do this…
I feel so stuck. Every time I write, nothing comes out.
Editing is so scary. How would I even start?
If so…
it’s time to take a deep breath.
You’ve got this.
Do any of these describe you?
“I'm in search of a meticulous editor who can enhance the nuances of my story without removing my writer’s voice.”
“I'm struggling to see the path forward from here. I need someone who can give me personalized direction.”
“Writing right now is like pulling teeth. I need feedback from someone who can help me recapture the joy of writing.”
You’re in the right place!

Developmental Editing
perfect during early drafts of your novel

Developmental Editing occurs early in the writing process. We’ll consider your big-picture pieces including character, plot, flow, and theme.

Feedback will be broken down by category and compiled into an editorial letter consisting of 6-10 double-spaced pages (depending on the length of your manuscript). Sheridan's storytelling talent and expertise shines from the very first moment you converse with her. She can almost read your mind as you work together to uncover the story you're trying to tell.
Every challenge I faced in the plotting and execution of my novel was met by Sheridan's enthusiasm and understanding of what I was trying to accomplish at a macroscopic level.
Collaborating with her wasn't only monumental in making my story the best it could be, but it also was more fun than I could ever imagine!
She is a breath of fresh air and I cannot thank her enough!

A sentence-by-sentence evaluation of your manuscript to determine the accuracy of your word-choice and the quality of your sentence-structure.
Includes feedback on the flow and impact of your sentences, as well as the length and readability of your paragraphs.
